Begotten - Limited Edition (4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray)

Enter the unsettling cinematic world of E. Elias Merhige’s Begotten, an experimental horror film that turns stark black-and-white imagery into a surreal vision of creation, suffering, and rebirth.

Told without spoken dialogue, the film unfolds through mysterious figures, ritualistic encounters, and haunting landscapes. Its heavily textured photography and immersive sound create an experience closer to a waking nightmare than a conventional narrative.

This Limited Edition from Kino Lorber presents a new 4K SDR restoration and newly created stereo and 5.1 surround mixes, overseen by Merhige. Two additional films expand the collection, housed in a six-panel Digipak with a soft touch slipcase.
