Set 23 years after Castlevania III: Dracula’s Curse, this new 2D action-exploration title from KONAMI, Evil Empire, and Motion Twin follows Rose Belmont as she is drawn into a dark conspiracy beneath a monster-infested Paris.

The story takes place in 1499, as medieval Paris burns and creatures emerge from the shadows. Trevor Belmont, the legendary hero who defeated Dracula, enters the city with his daughter Rose, armed with the Vampire Killer whip. As Rose’s journey unfolds, she faces familiar and new threats, including Death, Medusa, Carmilla, Joan of Arc, and other bosses tied to the game’s Arcana system. Defeated bosses are sealed into Rose’s tarot cards, unlocking spells and special actions that expand combat and exploration.

Gameplay focuses on fast-paced whip action, 2D exploration, equipment customization, and relic-based effects. Players can use the whip for traversal and combat, combine weapons across seven categories, and build Rose’s playstyle through gear found while exploring gothic stages inspired by classic Castlevania atmosphere.
