Hammer Films’ Horror of Dracula (1958) arrives in an expansive Limited Collector’s Edition featuring 4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray, newly restored from the best available archival materials and presented in its most complete form to date.
Directed by Terence Fisher, the Gothic horror classic stars Christopher Lee as Count Dracula and Peter Cushing as Dr. Van Helsing. Drawing from Bram Stoker’s legendary vampire story, the film helped define Hammer’s distinctive approach to Gothic horror and established Lee and Cushing as two of the studio’s most iconic stars.
Restored by Hammer Films and Silver Salt Restoration in partnership with Warner Bros., this edition reinstates footage believed lost for more than 60 years, including material previously seen only in the original Japanese theatrical release. Five different versions of the film are included, along with original mono audio and newly created 5.1 mixes.
