After becoming a successful song-and-dance team following World War II, Bob Wallace and Phil Davis join forces with performing sisters Betty and Judy Haynes and travel to a Vermont inn for Christmas. There they discover that the struggling inn is owned by their former commanding officer, leading the performers to put together an elaborate show in hopes of helping an old friend.
